Summer Message 2023

Dear Parishioners,

I hope this finds you well and that you are enjoying this spell of good weather known to so many of us as ‘exam weather’. Rightly, we keep all those doing exams in our prayers at this time.  As we are now in Summer, many will enjoy some well-deserved time off. From a parish viewpoint it has been a very busy 2023 thus far and I am deeply grateful to all those who have supported the parishes in so many ways.  For the month of July and August many of our musicians will take a well-earned break. I thank them for their service and look forward to hearing them refreshed and rested in September. The folk group in Rathmines will take a break and so there will be no 6pm Sunday evening Mass for July & August in Rathmines.

I am also grateful to the Spiritan Fathers who have kindly and generously agreed to cover duties in the parishes whilst I take an extended break in July.

My sincere thanks to all our parishioners for your on-going support and generosity.
